Licensing and updates A single license for JRButils for NetWare and JRButils for AD covers an organisation within one metropolitan area where a metropolitan area is limited to the area contained within a 30 Km diameter circle. Organisations spanning more than one metropolitan area and wanting to use JRButils within each area must purchase more than one copy. A five site license may be obtained for the price of four. For large numbers of sites, please contact JRB Software Ltd.

Every program in JRButils contains in-built help giving basic details on how to use it. The documentation provides much more extensive information including examples. Due to the costs of printing and shipping manuals from New Zealand, documentation is available only in electronic form. It is provided in Adobe Acrobat format which allows it to be viewed and searched via an Acrobat reader, viewed via a browser, and it may be printed. There are no restrictions on the number of copies which may be printed for use at the site for which it was purchased.

The purchase price includes all updates to JRButils released within 12 months of purchase. A new version of both JRButils for NetWare and JRButils for AD are released every December.

Copies of individual utilities are available upon request for evaluation. Fully functional versions are provided (with the exception of jrbimprt in JRButils for NetWare, and adimport in JRButils for AD which are limited to processing 10 users per run), but they are time bombed to run for only 30 days from the date of the evaluation request.
